Whistleblowing

What Whistleblowing is

SKY-NRG s.r.l. recognises the importance of Whistleblowing as an essential tool for preserving corporate integrity and the public interest. Whistleblowing is a practice that allows violations or unlawful conduct to be reported when they may compromise the company or harm collective wellbeing. This procedure provides a safe and protected channel for those who wish to report misconduct or irregularities.

Protection of Confidentiality and Rights

We ensure the highest level of confidentiality for anyone who decides to make a report, protecting the identity of the whistleblower and of the people involved in the procedure. The processing of personal data follows the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 and other relevant regulations, ensuring respect for privacy and the rights of the data subjects. In addition to this regulation, we are committed to complying with Law 179 of 2017 and Legislative Decree no. 24 of 10 March 2023, which govern the protection of whistleblowers in the public and private employment sectors.

Conditions for Reporting

Reports must be detailed, providing information on the time, place and description of the facts. It is important to include information that enables the identification of the people involved. The completeness of the information is essential in order to assess and process reports.

Protection and Limitations of Liability

We ensure protection against retaliatory conduct that may be implemented in response to reports. There are specific limitations of liability that protect the whistleblower from disciplinary sanctions, except in cases where the report is unfounded or the established procedure has been breached.

Who Can Make Reports

The whistleblowing procedure is open to anyone who has a relationship with the company, including:
– Employees at all levels, managers and directors;
– External persons such as consultants, business partners, suppliers and other individuals with temporary or permanent working relationships with the company;
– Volunteers, trainees or other individuals employed within the organisation, whether paid or unpaid.

Reporting Methods

Reports may be made in written or oral form, offering different options for the whistleblower’s convenience:
– Written Form: Reports may be submitted through different options:
> Email: email address whistleblowing@sky-nrg.com
> Online form here the form for anonymous reports: this channel allows anonymous reports to be submitted in written form, by completing the form or uploading files. It is also possible to request a direct meeting, if necessary. At the end of the procedure, the platform will generate a password that must be saved and stored by the whistleblower in order to check the progress of the operation at a later stage.

These methods allow the whistleblower to choose the approach they consider most convenient and suitable for submitting the report, while ensuring the security and protection of the information provided.
