At SKY-NRG, sustainability is not a statement of intent: it is a certified management system, reported annually in accordance with GRI standards and approved by the Board of Directors. Every environmental, social and governance criterion is monitored, measured and continuously improved.
ESG CRITERIA
SKY-NRG has adopted a Quality Management System compliant with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, certified by an accredited body. The system ensures standardised processes, full traceability and continuous improvement throughout the entire project lifecycle — from design to delivery. The company also holds the ESNA – SOA certification, which qualifies it to carry out public works in the field of renewable energy generation systems.
The Environmental Management System is certified to UNI EN ISO 14001:2015. SKY-NRG monitors and reduces its environmental impact. In 2024, the company installed 64.2 MW of photovoltaic capacity, contributing to the generation of 95 GWh of green energy and avoiding the emission of 29,500 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent. Environmental criteria are also integrated into the selection of strategic suppliers, who are required to hold ISO 14001 certification.
Occupational health and safety are governed by a Management System certified to UNI EN ISO 45001:2018. Every operation — particularly those at height for the installation and maintenance of systems — is preceded by a thorough risk assessment and detailed planning. The use of certified PPE, approved anchoring systems and comprehensive operational procedures is mandatory. HSEQ indicators are monitored in accordance with certification requirements and Italian Legislative Decree 81/08.
SKY-NRG publishes its Sustainability Report annually, approved by the Board of Directors. The governance structure includes a dedicated Sustainability Manager and an internal reporting committee. The Code of Ethics governs all business relationships in accordance with principles of fairness, transparency and confidentiality. In 2024, no violations of environmental, safety or data protection regulations were recorded.

SAFETY & QUALITY
Safety is not merely a regulatory requirement. It is the operational foundation of every worksite.
A specific operational plan is prepared for every intervention, defining risks, preventive measures and responsibilities. No worksite is activated without complete, validated documentation.
Rooftop installations and maintenance require targeted risk assessments: height, weather conditions, structural typology. Every scenario is analysed before work begins.
The team receives regular updates on working at height, the use of truck-mounted platforms, PPE and current regulations. Training is mandatory for all operators, both internal and external, in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 81/08.
Quality, health, safety and environmental indicators are measured on an ongoing basis.
